Sunday, 4 pm. Twelve places, two game masters, two groups. That is how Dragon Dynamics describes its monthly free trial at the Penthouse on Magazinstraße 4. For someone who knows Dungeons & Dragons only from videos, games or friends, this is a concrete entry point: a defined place, a limited session and materials at the table.
The more useful question comes before registration. Does this exact format fit your age, budget, boundaries and journey home? A three-hour one-shot is a different decision from a recurring campaign or a monthly subscription.
Transparency: SalzburgTeen is operated by ZukunftBilden. ZukunftBilden is a shareholder of Dragon Dynamics. Momo Feichtinger is a managing director of both companies. That connection rules out an independent endorsement here. Provider statements remain labelled as such.
The short answer
Dragon Dynamics is a commercial Salzburg provider of guided tabletop role-playing games, usually shortened to TTRPGs. Its site lists Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Daggerheart and Call of Cthulhu. According to the provider, games take place in two equipped game rooms in the Dragon Dynamics Penthouse.
The free trial is the smallest first step. The D&D page schedules it for the first Sunday of each month from 4 pm to 7 pm, with twelve places split into two groups of six. No previous knowledge, personal dice or finished character should be required. The booking page calculates the current dates and remaining places.
If you want to continue, the next choice is between a campaign, a single session or a membership. At that point, the story and group are only part of the decision. Contract term, cancellation and whether a fixed date fits your week matter as well.
Four terms that should not be mixed up

The legal level is clear. EVI, Austria's official publication platform, lists Yichui Jin and Momo Maximilian Feichtinger as managing directors. The shareholders are Yichui Jin and ZukunftBilden. Momo Feichtinger is not listed there as a personal shareholder.
What you can currently try
Youth pilot for ages 14 to 18
The campaign page currently publishes a free Vampire: The Masquerade pilot: Wednesday, 2 September 2026, 5 pm to 8 pm, with no more than six places. Registration asks for details of both the player and the parent or guardian, as well as consent.
The provider describes Dark Fantasy, mystery and intrigue. Violence and blood can occur but should not be depicted in detail. Sexualised content, sexual violence, violence against children, explicit torture and splatter are excluded in the registration notice. Personal boundaries should be discussed before play.
If at least four people want to continue after the pilot, the campaign is intended to run on the first and third Wednesday of each month. The price and contract model for teenagers after the pilot are not clearly published. The general Bronze price is therefore not an automatic answer for this youth campaign.
Free trial
The official site gives the first Sunday of each month from 4 pm to 7 pm. As of 30 August 2026, it displayed 6 September and 4 October 2026 as the next dates. Availability can change after every registration.
The free offer has boundaries:
- It is for new players.
- Each date is planned for twelve people.
- The session is divided into two groups of six.
- Anyone already registered or anyone who has played an earlier one-shot or used a previous free session should not use the free offer again.
- The site says reused or unusual email addresses are checked manually.
This is not a generally free membership. The 0-euro community tier on the price page also does not make regular game sessions free.
One-shot
A one-shot is an adventure planned for one session. It is usually the most manageable test because you are not yet committing to a long story or the same group. The website currently lists 35 euros for one regular session.
Recurring campaign
A campaign links several sessions into one continuing story. It fits if you can reliably make the same slot and want to continue with the group. The site describes campaigns for beginners, experienced players, teenagers and adults. The exact age range still belongs to the individual campaign. One advertised pilot, for example, was explicitly for 14- to 18-year-olds.

The terms and conditions distinguish monthly and annual models. Monthly subscriptions continue without a fixed end. Cancellation at the end of a month is described as possible if written notice arrives by the 15th of that month. Gold ends after twelve months and cannot be cancelled ordinarily before that point according to the published terms.
The currently published terms themselves contain an editorial note: the rolling subscription and credit logic still needs final legal review before publication. The same note appears beside possible credit for unused subscription sessions. SalzburgTeen cannot resolve that drafting issue. Before choosing Bronze, Silver or Gold, ask for written confirmation of the service, credit and cancellation rules that actually apply.
Individual sessions use a 48-hour boundary. A timely cancellation receives a credit under the terms. A later cancellation or a no-show loses the session. If Dragon Dynamics cancels, the provider says the session will be credited or refunded on request.
Prices and rules can change. Before a longer commitment, keep a readable copy of the current service, term and cancellation information.
Minors: contract, supervision and travel home
The terms answer three questions clearly:
- For a minor, the contract is concluded exclusively with a parent or guardian.
- The published minimum age for regular Penthouse Gilde sessions is eleven.
- Supervision is accepted only during the booked session and only inside the provider's premises.
The third point matters most in practice. A session from 4 pm to 7 pm does not cover the time before arrival or after it ends. Meeting point, collection, bus route and a fallback plan belong to the family decision, especially for evening sessions.
A minimum age of eleven also does not mean every game fits every eleven-year-old. Horror, conflict, complex rules or an older group can justify a narrower age range. Ask about the specific system, themes, game master and group before booking.
Safe space: what is documented and what remains open
The terms refer to a respectful environment, safety tools and the option to remove participants after serious rule-breaking or harassment. The website describes trained game masters and a safe play environment. These are concrete provider rules and first-party statements.
Public sources do not explain which safety tools a particular session will use, how boundaries are collected before play, or who a teenager can contact outside the current game master. Those are reasonable booking questions, not accusations.
Before the first game, a teenager should know:
- Can I stop a theme without having to justify myself?
- Which content is planned for this campaign?
- Who can I speak to if something feels wrong?
- Will names, photographs, audio or game content be published?
- What happens if the group is not a good fit?
The provider also markets teamwork, creativity, problem-solving and social-emotional learning. SalzburgTeen found no linked independent outcome study on the provider page. These therefore remain marketing claims, not a guarantee about one session.
Registration and data
The privacy notice covers contact, registration, booking and payment data. The provider says these are processed for enquiries, contracts and payments. Payment data can be shared with payment providers.
For a minor, the practical route is straightforward: a parent or guardian reads the actual booking fields, checks which data are required and concludes the contract. A public community tier is not a reason to provide more profile data than the selected purpose requires.
If you only want to test the format, do not begin with an annual package, shop access, a detailed community profile and several add-ons at once. One concrete session creates less commitment and leaves the next decision open.
Audio recording and AI recaps
The terms go further than the general privacy notice. Section 9 says sessions may be audio-recorded for quality assurance and automated summaries and processed with speech-to-text. The data are described as serving primarily the provider's “DM-OS” services.
The public documents do not clearly state activation for each session, a refusal option, retention period, access roles, deletion route or whether someone can participate fully without recording. For minors, those answers belong before consent. Ask in writing: Will this exact game be recorded? Who can hear or read the result? How long is it retained? What happens if we do not agree?
Venue, travel and accessibility
Dragon Dynamics gives Magazinstraße 4, 5020 Salzburg as its address. The website says the Schwarzpark bus stop is nearby and lists routes 21, 120 and 140. Check the current timetable and final connection for the actual date.
As of 30 August 2026, the public site did not provide a reliable detailed answer about step-free access, a lift, accessible toilets, sensory adjustments or a quiet retreat space. Anyone who depends on these should receive written answers before paying.
Drinks, snacks and a terrace do not answer accessibility questions. The relevant details are entrance, floor, doors, toilet, seating, breaks and collection.
Penthouse Gilde and Strategenfokus
Penthouse Gilde is the community layer around Dragon Dynamics. After a good first session, recurring groups and forums may make it easier to stay connected. For younger teenagers, it remains a provider-run, contractual access layer, not an open youth centre.
Strategenfokus is not currently a youth offer. Its public page describes an implementation room for solo business owners starting at 150 euros net per month; the offer is currently closed and has a waiting list. Older SalzburgTeen notes about youth, maker or membership crossovers are not reliable for the present and are not carried forward here.

When Dragon Dynamics is likely to fit
It may fit if you enjoy making decisions inside a story, want a guided structure and can realistically spend three hours at the table. It may also suit someone who finds small talk difficult but finds conversation easier when the group shares a task.
It is less likely to fit if you need a spontaneous free drop-in place, cannot currently take on a recurring commitment, or receive no answer about age, content, access or travel home.

What may still be unresolved before booking
Depending on the session, public sources do not answer every practical question:
- exact age composition of the group
- name and role of the game master
- safety tools used in the session
- story themes and possible triggers
- step-free access and toilet arrangements
- photograph, audio and publication rules at the venue
- activation, access, retention and refusal for audio or AI processing
- collection after the session ends

Dragon Dynamics offers a clearer entry point than a random private game: an official venue, limited group, game master, monthly trial and published prices. It is also a commercial offer with a direct connection to the operator of SalzburgTeen.
The best first step is therefore small. Check the current free trial, agree the contract and travel home with a parent if you are under 18, and only choose a campaign or membership after the game. If one central point remains unresolved, you do not need to make a booking decision yet.
